DONI WOLFENSTEIN

Mr Wolfenstein has had extensive experience and education in music, with particular focus on Violin in performance.


Doni has studied with Yolanta Kulaga, Brendon Joyce and mainly with Ms. Kerry Smith at the Queensland Conservatorium. ​


He has had experience conducting the CCO, and has been the Concert Master of the CCO and ICO, often also called in for tuition and consulting for other ensembles.


As a Violinist, he has also performed as a Soloist with numerous ensembles throughout Australia, has won and been placed in many Competitions and Eisteddfods.


Previously the Director of the St Andrew`s Camerata, and currently the Founder of the National Piano Trio of Australia, The Early Music Ensemble, he is currently playing at Queensland Baroque.


Doni has over 15 years of teaching experience, and has been a part of Vivo for over many years and now he is the Director of VIVO.


Doni has trained various range of level students from beginner to AMUS. His special teaching methods help a lot of his students get very very fast progress and significant achievements at AMEB Exams, performances and competitions.




LINDA

LINDA


Linda has been playing the cello since the age of nine and received her AMEB Associate Diploma in Music at the age of 15.


She is graduated a Bachelor of Music, specialising in Cello performance, at the Queensland Conservatorium, now she is doing Master Degree in Cello Performance.


She enjoys playing other instruments such as guitar and piano, and composing music during her spare time.


Since the age of 14, she has accompanied various performances in cello and guitar, played for weddings and gigs of professional standard, and participated in several orchestras and music festivals.


Linda has been teaching with Vivo for over five years.





DIEGO



[✪] CELLO TEACHER [✪]




DIEGO


Diego completed his Bachelor Degree in 2011 and graduated his master Degree in Cello Performance in 2014.


Currently, teaching Cello at VIVO College of Music and continues his studying at Queensland University.


Diego has various international experience in cello performance when he participated Teresa Carreño (Venezuela) Santiago de Cali Philharmonic Orchestra ( Colombia) and National Symphony Orchestra (United Arab Emirates ) among others.


He was also experiencing of works as a Supernumerary of the Santiago de Cali Philharmonic Orchestra, while he was a member of Loyola Musical Group , and also Senior Cello Teacher at Andino College.


In Asia, Diego worked in Singapore for a while the as a Senior String Teacher. His pedagogical work and stylistic versatility with the Cello stand out from his experience throughout his career.





JOANNE LEASK



[✪] VIOLIN & VIOLA TEACHER [✪]



JOANNE LEASK


Joanne has obtained her AMusA on both violin and piano, Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium, and Master of Arts from the Royal Academy of Music.


She has been a freelance musician in both Brisbane and London since 2010, and is currently a casual member of the Queensland Symphony and Queensland Pops Orchestras.


She is currently studying Music Therapy through the blended learning mode offered via University of Melbourne, which informs her teaching approach whether it is to improve instrumental abilities, prepare for AMEB exams, build confidence, develop other cognitive or developmental skills, or to simply have fun.


Joanne has trained various range of level students from beginner to AMUS.
She also enjoys expanding her musical horizons across other musical genres such as Bluegrass, and instruments such as guitar and singing.




GENIA

GENIA


Genia, has completed her B.Mus degree many many years ago and has been teaching in Vivo for almost 20 years. Altogether she has more than 40 years of teaching experience.


Her students range from the young to adults, beginners to AMUS, LMUS. She's very familiar with AMEB (Australian Music Exam Board) and ABRSM (The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music).


Many of her students have very high achievement. Genia is professional, experienced in music pedagogy and expert in Russian piano methodical teaching.


​Her exceptional Technic and extensive knowledge in piano leads her students to great success when preparing for performances, musical exams and international competitions.





CHRISTINE

CHRISTINE


After graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music with Bachelor Degree, Christine has been teaching over 15 years from beginners to AMUS piano students.


Christine also has been playing the violin, viola when she was primary school as a hobby and teaching violin, viola for beginners.


She also has degree of Kinder Music therefore she working really well with very young kids which is help little young kids keep interested in music and instrument.





MELVINA

MELVINA


Melvina has been studying piano since she was 6 years old. She has completed her bachelor of musicology and currently studying at the University of Queensland for the Master Degree of Music, Major in Piano Performance, she has won numerous awards in many competitions.


Through the professional study, she has a profound understanding of piano performance and has many years of teaching experience. According to her practical experience, combining music theory knowledge with piano practical lessons is a good way to help children understand music and know how to express music better. Melvina is very cheerful and enjoys spending time with the children.


The classroom atmosphere is vivid and interesting, she is good at starting with interests and building a solid foundation.



TANYA

TANYA


Tanya has been involved in woodwind instruments since primary school, with particular emphasis on flute and clarinet and saxophone, playing woodwind instruments in school, graduates from the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, and for the past four years as a member of the Queensland Youth Orchestras, Brisbane Symphony Band. Recently she has been awarded a special scholarship travelling to Slovakia in a short term for a master degree. ​


Tanya has been teaching flute, clarinet, saxophone and music theory for over four years, many of her woodwind students at Vivo College of Music have good achievement at AMEB examinations.





ERWIN



[✪] GUITAR TEACHER [✪]



ERWIN


Erwin began learning guitar at the age of 14 and initially started with classical guitar. He moved to electric guitar at the age of 15 after he found it more interesting.


He is influenced by a wide variety of musicians such as Slash, Vito Brata, Steve Vai, Antonio Vivaldi, Bach, and shred master Yngwie Malmsteen, to name but a few.


He successfully attained the Bachelor of Applied Arts (Music) in March 2011. Erwin has been teaching guitar for 7 years. He plays guitar in several styles including Classical, Flamenco, Rock, Metal, Pop,World Music, Neo - Classical and also his project Symphonic Power Metal.


Erwin was a band leader and a song writer in his previous bands and is currently in his Symphonic Power Metal band, SERAPHIC.



LEONARDO GALEANO

LEONARDO GALEANO


Leonardo began his musical studies at the Luis.A. Calvo Music Academy in Bogota, Columbia, where he studied classical guitar and explored harmony as applied to the guitar.


He also formed a guitar quartet, participating in numerous competitions and festivals. In 2003, he graduated from The National Pedagogical University, Major in Classical Guitar and start working as teacher over 10 years.


​With over 5 years teaching experience at VIVO and expertise in teaching classical guitar, Leonardo is a exceptional talent and great at teaching both children and adults, he can help students can get very high achievement in a very short time.





JAMES BROWN



[✪] DRUMS TEACHER [✪]




JAMES


James has over 15 years of drumming experience and 6 years as a professional performer. He has played at several private functions and also at music festivals.


He is also currently in his own band 'The Unofficials'. James has also performed for a variety of different bands over the years in a range of different styles and has developed a broad musical palate to draw from.


James has completed a Diploma in Music, Diploma of Popular Music at JMC and is graduated a Bachelor of Jazz Performance at the Jazz Music Institute. He is experienced in a range of styles including Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, Progressive styles, Heavy Metal, Jazz and Latin.


Lessons will be tailored to individual students' needs and musical direction and will have emphasis on technique and control, developing students' coordination, and improvisational abilities. This will give them the tools they need to not only be a successful drummer, but a successful musician.





SAMMIE LUCK

SAMMIE - VOCAL


Sammie is a singer and songwriter who is graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium with a degree of Bachelor of Popular Music. Proficient in music production and performance, Sammie continues to perform at various venues and weddings.


He has recently completed his Graduate Certificate in Music Studies, specializing in vocal performance.
